The New Leitz measuring machine has arrived
Our company bought the first CNC coordinate measuring machine 25 years ago in 1996. Even then, we placed great emphasis on our customers being able to verify the conformity of the finished parts by measurements.
We have also purchased two large CNC coordinate measuring machines in the last decade. At the end of last year, we thought it was time to replace the 25-year-old machine, which was otherwise calibrated and maintained every year but due to safety reasons we wanted to change it. Our Leitz Reference Xi 543 coordinate measuring machine arrived in November. The machine has outstanding dynamic and accuracy characteristics, we bought it with a motorized measuring head, mainly due to our unique tasks, the resolution of the measuring rod on each axis is 0.039 μm. The new measuring machine, just like our other two large measuring machines, is served by the latest PC-DMIS software.
